A Review: Urevised Ltd.

     Unleashed: Revised Ltd. (Urevised) is a UK based web hosting company that provides PHP4 and PHP5 packages, virtual packages, reseller accounts, secure data back-up of up to 20Gb and dedicated IP addresses and SSL certificates. Prices start from £3GBP for the basic virtual package, and £7.50GBP for the most basic reseller account.

     It's often been the case with web hosts who under charge that you get what you pay for - they over sell, making servers cluttered and slow, however, I can not say I have had this with Urevised at all. Sites load fast, and to date I can not think of one unscheduled server outage. I honestly believe you get more than you pay for with Urevised. And that doesn't even touch on their support.

     To help give you an idea of the quality of their support I am going to compare them to a few other companies that I have used in the past. One notable, well known american company would simply say that the complaint I had was simply wrong - my web site was not down for 3 hours, I had the problem, despite 2 independent monitoring web sites telling me different, and me being unable to access the web site. I have also used several of the big British players, and although the service was good, it just couldn't compare to Urevised. Any support questions are answered promptly, helpfully, and friendly. They can be contacted through support tickets, email and their forums. The forums themselves are really quite good, because not only the staff will help you, but also other members who have had similar experiences. It's a nice community.

     To wrap things up, I would not hesitate in recommending Urevised to any one.
